PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2018     Studio Apprentice for Kelly Sullivan Fine Art and FingerSmears™, Lambertville, NJ

Task: Shares studio space with Kelly Sullivan. Acts as an independent contractor to help with a variety of projects (often includes design work and assisting with community-based projects). Helps run studio space, talk with visitors. Free to use the studio space for personal work at any time. At this point, that includes: personal and commission work, reading art books, and studying anatomy. 

2018     Modeling for Fine Artists and Photographers

Task: Meeting with artists on location, applying appropriate garments and makeup. Shoot can last from 45 minutes to a few hours, depending on how much time is needed to properly set up. Collaboration is often done to help determine the best results. Modeling has been done to use as reference for fine art and illustration, for photo editing and portfolio peices (to be used in magazines), and model garments for fashion students.    

2017     MICA: Guest Panelist for Board of Trustees Presentation

Task: Assisted in presenting a new MICA course with its professor to MICA’s Board of Trustees. Offered personal insight on the benefits of the class so that Board Members could hear a student’s perspective.

     2016-18     Intern for Kelly Sullivan Fine Art and FingerSmears™, Lambertville, NJ

Task: Studio and Gallery Assistant. Marketed through social media and personal delivery to the local community. Provided customer service to visitors of the studio and gallery, describing Kelly’s work and inviting them to sign up for the newsletter. Assisted in setting up multiple Plein Air workshops. Independently managed both the studio and gallery buildings. Handled phone calls and purchases for needed supplies. Used Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Assisted in running a MFFC Event in Philadelphia, taking photos and working with children. Was the designer for postcards, website, Paint.Team templates and color palettes, handlettered signs.
